Overview

The Curse Beneath the Mountain, written and directed by DD Kinley, is an upcoming cross-border mystery-thriller and dark action film uniting creative talent from Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Thailand. Set for a dual-country theatrical release in Bhutan and Nepal on October 9, 2026, following a grand trailer launch in Kathmandu on September 22, 2026, the film stars Sangay Tsheltrim, Anoop Bikram Shahi, and Anna Sharma alongside Roshini Dada, Nidup Dorji, and Phuntshok Dhonden. Produced jointly by Peak XV Studio (Nirvana Chaudhary), Sangay Tsheltrim Films, and Dorjigs Production, with actor Pradeep Khadka serving as creative producer, the ambitious production features cinematography by Dirgha Gurung and Sangay T. Tenzing, action design by Raju Tamang, and post-production audio scored and designed in Thailand by Terdsak Janpan and Karan Thamawong.
