Overview

Behuli is a rebellious love story wrapped in the imagery of a bride caught between devotion and defiance — a handcuffed groom, a tearful embrace, a wedding that carries the weight of something darker beneath its rituals. Directed by Sashan Kandel and produced by renowned musician Arjun Pokharel, the film stars Paras Bam Thakuri, Divya Rayamajhi, and Sushant Karki in lead roles, backed by an ensemble including Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya, Sarita Giri, and Vishal Pahari. Arriving during the festive spirit of Teej, Behuli promises to pair celebration with heartbreak, releasing in cinemas nationwide on Bhadra 26 (September 11, 2026).
