Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran, often known simply as Shriya, is an accomplished Indian actress, model, and presenter who has established herself as one of the leading leading ladies of South Indian cinema while working across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English, Malayalam, and Kannada films. After making her acting debut in 2001 with Ishtam, she scored her first major commercial success with the Telugu film Santosham (2002). Her career soared to new heights when she starred opposite Rajinikanth in Sivaji (2007)—which was the highest-grossing Tamil film at the time—followed by prominent roles in Tamil hits like Azhagiya Tamilmagan (2007) and Kanthaswamy (2009), high-profile Bollywood projects such as Mission Istanbul (2008), and the American-Indian co-production The Other End of the Line (2007).
