Sheeba Chaddha

Sheeba Chaddha (born April 24, 1972) is an acclaimed Indian film, stage, and television actress who grew up in Delhi and majored in English Literature at Hans Raj College, where she developed her craft through college productions and the Delhi-based theatre group Chingari. Having performed extensively on stage in productions like Othello in Black & White and Hedda Gabler, she is also involved in running Mumbai's "The Company Theatre." Across her multi-decade career, she built a strong screen presence with character roles in films such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), Delhi 6 (2009), Luck by Chance (2009), Talaash (2012), and Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), alongside prominent television shows like Na Aana Is Des Laado and TVF's Permanent Roommates. Celebrated for her subtle yet impactful performances, Chaddha achieved widespread critical success in 2022 by earning two Filmfare nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Doctor G and Badhaai Do), winning the prestigious award for her role in Badhaai Do.
