Saroj Khanal

Saroj Khanal (born in Chitwan, Nepal) is a distinguished Nepali actor and director who began his journey in theater with the 1987 play Bhasmasur Ko Nali Haad before rising to stardom with his iconic performance in the classic film Prem Pinda (1995). Honored with the prestigious Prabal Gorkha Dakshinbahu, he has built a rich filmography spanning hits like Bijaya Parajaya, Prem Geet (2016), Captain (2019), Samhalinchha Kahile Mann (2022), and Bagan (2023). Following a brief hiatus living in the United States, Khanal made a celebrated return to Nepali cinema and television, continuing to be one of the industry's most revered and versatile veterans.
