Rajesh Sharm

Born in Ludhiana, Indian actor Rajesh Sharma began his career with Kolkata's 'Rangakarmi' theatre group and graduated from the National School of Drama, New Delhi. He made his Bollywood debut in 1996 with Maachis before expanding into Bengali cinema, starting with Aparna Sen's Paromitar Ek Din (2000). Returning to Hindi films with Parineeta (2005), Sharma established a prominent career across both Bollywood and Bengali film industries, starring in acclaimed hit movies such as Khosla Ka Ghosla, Ishqiya, No One Killed Jessica, The Dirty Picture, Special 26, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In his personal life, following a divorce from Bengali actress Sudipta Chakraborty, he married Sangeeta Sharma in 2011.
