Prashant Narayanan

Prashant Narayanan is an Indian actor known for his intense performances across Hindi, Malayalam, and international cinema. Raised in Delhi, where he was a state badminton champion and studied at Kirori Mal College, he moved to Mumbai in 1991, initialing working in art direction and costume design before debuting as an actor in Hansal Mehta’s Chhal (2002). He achieved widespread critical acclaim for his roles in Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II (2003) and the German director Florian Gallenberger’s Bengali-language drama Shadows of Time (2004). Narayanan scored his major commercial breakout as the psychopathic antagonist Dheeraj Pandey in the hit thriller Murder 2 (2011), going on to deliver strong performances in Edavappathy (2013) and the Netflix series Mai (2022).
