Konkona Sen Sharma

Konkona Sen Sharma, daughter of filmmaker Aparna Sen, is an Indian actress acclaimed for her work in parallel, independent, and mainstream cinema. After debuting as a child artist in Indira (1983), she earned the National Film Award for Best Actress for her breakout performance in Mr. and Mrs. Iyer (2002) and gained wider recognition with Page 3 (2005). She won back-to-back Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Awards for Omkara (2006)—which also earned her a second National Film Award—and Life in a... Metro (2007).
