Jitendra Kumar

Jitendra Kumar (born September 1, 1990) is an acclaimed Indian actor who grew up in Rajasthan and discovered his passion for acting while studying civil engineering at IIT Kharagpur, where he led the Hindi Technology Dramatics Society. After meeting Biswapati Sarkar, he joined The Viral Fever (TVF) in 2012, shooting to fame with viral sketches and breakout roles in popular web series like TVF Pitchers, Permanent Roommates, and Kota Factory as Jeetu Bhaiya. He expanded into mainstream cinema with his film debut in Shuruat Ka Interval (2014) and later starred alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020), Jaadugar (2022), and Dry Day (2023). Most notably, Kumar earned widespread critical acclaim and two Filmfare OTT Awards for his portrayal of Abhishek Tripathi, a frustrated urban youth working as a village secretary in Amazon Prime Video's hit series Panchayat.
