Ali Fazal

Ali Fazal (born October 15, 1986) is an Indian actor who grew up in Lucknow, attended The Doon School, and graduated in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. After discovering his passion for acting through stage plays like The Tempest, he made his screen debut in 2008 and quickly earned widespread recognition as Joy Lobo in 3 Idiots (2009). He built a successful career in Hindi cinema through hit comedies such as Fukrey and Happy Bhag Jayegi, while simultaneously stepping onto the global stage with roles in Furious 7 (2015) and starring as Abdul Karim opposite Judi Dench in Victoria & Abdul (2017). Celebrated for his acclaimed portrayal of Guddu Pandit in Amazon Prime Video's hit crime series Mirzapur, Fazal continues to expand his international filmography with Hollywood features including Death on the Nile (2022) and Kandahar (2023).
